dress less beautiful 02The venue is confirmed. On February 16 we are playing songs from ‘The Button Moulder’ and launching the music video for Dress Less Beautiful at Naustet & Lanternen in Oslo. And let’s not forget to announce that the music video director is the ever so good Ronnie MAG Larsen.

First music video to be released from The Button Moulder is launching next month. I will celebrate with a full band show at a very intimate and cosy little venue in the heart of Oslo. More details will follow and more stills from the video shoot will be posted here on this site.

OPENING FOR LISSIE

This week I will be opening for the brilliant Lissie on the Norwegian leg of her Back To Forever Tour. I will both be doing solo performances as well as full band performances. And the set will include songs from my new album The Button Moulder.

THE BUTTON MOULDER’S WALTZ

On February 20 I posted this on Facebook.

So I guess I had to do it.

Listen in context of the dogme-like way of which I was producing it. I haven’t used any other recording equipment than the built-in microphone on my Mac and a few software instruments. It was quite a stressful recording situation but at the same time I found it creatively challenging in positive terms. It was moments of fun and some of despair… banging my head against the wall for the obvious reasons you would experience if ever trying to record a bass guitar or drums through a PC-microhone. Even worse – the vocals…

UPDATE 2013
Since I have decided to call my new album The Button Moulder and that some ideas from this production is involved in that I have to take down the free downloads for now. It may be that I will make it available again. But as for now… You gotta wait for THE BUTTON MOULDER on October 25, 2013.
